If the test is negative, we can talk about why your period is late, and about birth control if that is on your mind.
If it is positive, you do not have to decide anything today. We will tell you honestly what your options are, including how far along you are and what Florida law allows, and then give you room to think.

How soon can I take a test?
A test is usually reliable from around the time your period is due. If you test very early you may get a negative result while still being pregnant. If your period does not arrive, test again or come in.
